Question regarding the Kick2

Does anyone have any knowledge on how long a kick 2 lasts? I read a post some time ago saying that the kick2 shorted out and quit working weeks after being installed.
If I did purchase one it would be on a daily vape and I don't want to have $45 go down the drain. What's the longest anyone here has had their kick2 in their mech that is being used daily?

can you please provide the link for it shorting?

It's supposed to be equivalent to an APV circuit pack...just manually set and internal to the battery tube

If the guy claiming it shorted did something wrong...well...that's operator error and not a design flaw or weakness of the product

I have heard nothing but RAVING reviews about the kick and kick2 (and their equivalents) and that if you own a "mechanical" that's about the only way to run it..."kick it"! (well unless you are a sub ohmer..and that's a whole new critter in itself )

I forget where I read the post. It was probably from a late night research session I was doing.
The truth is I really want to get a kick but I wanted some input from people who have been using it for a while.

On the interweb, no one ever reports how well something is working after 6 months to a year of ownership... only the failures. User error? Perhaps. Actual failure rate percentage of those sold? Miniscule.

I have the evolv Kick 1 (3 mo.) and 2 (2 mo.) as well as the Sigelei and Smok clones (both 6 weeks)... they all work just fine. If anything, the $13 Smok should be the first to go... but nope, still "Timex'ing" along.
