Question: Social Groups

I'm only posting this publicly because i'm not really sure who to ask

Anyway, I filled out the thing to start a social group. I just wanna know how long does it generally take to receive word about whether it has been ok'ed or not, and will I receive a notification if it has been declined?

It can take a while as the individual who approves the requests is currently overseas and is pretty busy. Additionally, we're busy getting ready to convert the forums to a new forum software package, you may need to resubmit once we've made the change.
