I can't speak to the disposables but as far as the standard Ruyan E-cigar as found at Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop I can say that the juice that is in the pre-filled carts doesn't produce a throat hit (at least IMO), I switched to using RY4 (from ruyandirect) and sometimes Fargo (from dietsmokes) in the cigar and those produce a mild throat hit. It's not a real harsh hit but rather a slight or gentle irritation around the throat as inhaled. There is also the slight sensation in the very back of the throat. Overall, it is a milder experience than say my Joye 510/Janty Dura but the sensations are still there. Keep in mind that I've found the cigar requires about two to three primer puffs before taking a drag to produce this experience.

I hope that helps, there is a good review by asidrave on the ruyan e-cigar and he would be a good person to ask as well, his e-cig review thread is a good place for some useful input from others as well. Here is the review: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/video-reviews/14429-ruyan-e-cigar-review-asidrave.html

BTW, the liquid in the pre-filled carts produce a reduced amount of vapor but when using my own juice I get very satisfying clouds of vapor.

Just for clarification- are you looking into the ruyan disposable cigar or the e-cigar??
from what i have read the disposable has a medium throat hit and low to medium vapor-
the regular e-cigar is about the same- I believe the model in a DSE701-
if you use different liquids there is an improvement with throat hit and vapor.
Let me know what model exactly you are looking at- I have tried the DSE and RN models of the regular e-cigar and I have also tried a disposable from a different company that was pretty damn good (got me through a 5 day trip to vegas)
