Question Vapor King Passthru battery

I think Steve will be getting some in soon. Right now the ones he has will charge the pcc or a battery, but not the passthru. You need higher voltage to run the Passthrough. I am sure someone will chime in and tell you what specs you need, and they do have them out there. Gazoo and KC are the voltage experts - me, I'm just the blonde cheerleader!
I actually got one free in my order!!! I am soooo lucky!! On the side it says that it is 5 volts. I haven't tried it out yet though.
It is only rated at 200ma's and doesn't work well with the passthrough. IMO..1 amp is needed. That is what Steve will be getting in...should be very soon.
I got one of these before Steve started selling them, And I love the low-profileness (it's a word!) of it...

I'm feeling your pain, Steve. I once had an order for software from China that got seized by Customs for being counterfeit (honest, I thought it was authentic). I'll have to get me the car charger, that's for sure. And a PT ... and very, very soon. Thanks for everything you do for your customers.

By the way, I'm very suspect about a 5v 1000mA charger working with the passthru because I have a wall charger for usb that the rated output is just that (5v 1000mA) and it doesn't work. I have to use my Rosewill 4 port that puts out 5v @ 2000mA for it to work.
If anyone finds one that works at 1000mA I'd sure like to know how they did it.

Sounds like your power supply is over-rated or up-binned.
The max I've been able to get my USB passthrough to pull is 884mA and that was as hard as I could draw, riiight before cut-off.

One of the members here told us about one for $1.95, I bought 4 but can't find the info. They work great. (1000mah) Hopefully someone comes around that remembers. I know it's in an old thread, but I'm way to lazy to go searching, lol.
Just got my V4L stuff today. The cheapo 1000mah wall wart that I have will not drive it (the passthru). The 1000 mah usb dual port that I have will drive it, as well as the 200mah that came from V4L, so I guess it's either mislabeled or very generous. Now I need to find a nice hefty wall wart for home use.
