QUESTION! What are your thoughts on.....

Hi TVR Vapers!

We are looking into offering child safety containers as an option for bottles that you purchase from TVR. Josh and I have a pup so we understand taking extra precaution and we put all of our personal juice out of reach. But, is this something you would be interested in as an extra precaution? What are your thoughts on this?

Option as an extra cost. That way you have the option and if you don't need it it won't cost more.

It's great you guys want to offer extra protection. I think that the best protection is just to keep our juice out reach of anyone that shouldn't be drinking it.

If you wanted to make the bottle caps childproof, you could use the same kind that everyone else uses. But your bottles are so cute! And I've seen kids unscrew childproof caps so many times...

We think they are cute too! Which is a big reason we would rather do a container than the child-proof caps, plus we aren't big fans of those caps. We were also thinking the container would give us a chance to provide additional information about the juice like, born on date, ingredients, ect. Do you guys think that is something you would like to see?

We were looking at perscription bottle type containers that would hold a single bottle, and ones that are slightly larger to hold 5 and 10 packs. They aren't much bigger than the bottle itself and have the child safely top. We will probably get them in a different color so they don't look like perscription bottles and look more like a containers.

Okay, that makes perfect sense. I'm with Tofu on this one, it should be an option.

Yea I like your bottles the way they are, if you offer as an option fine, but I would hate for you to lose the old bottles. I hate the bottles with the childproof caps actually lol.

I happen to like your bottles because they are different. Every other vendor uses the same type of bottles. I like the shape of yours. But in the end it won't bother me at all if you guys decide to switch.

My take on this is:

All the "child proof" caps I have received from different vendors barely keep the caps on to begin with, let alone have any genuine claim to being child proof. It seems to come down to it being slippery plastic against slippery plastic, with a slippery liquid involved. Crank on 'em as hard as you may it then barely takes any effort to unscrew the caps. In so many words, the claims that these caps I have are child proof are practically a law suit waiting to happen.

Personally I'm far more concerned about having a cap that simply stays tightly screwed on period. Since I only order 100 VG I have only ever received your glass bottles and those caps do stay in place nice and secure. As I have no rug rats around child proof caps are superfluous to me.

What I and several other of your VG users would prefer would be a non glass option for 100 VG that doesn't require a $1.00 up charge. We don't see your VG stuff as that thick that it wouldn't work in a one piece plastic dropper bottle. Or at least a plastic bottle that would fit the four dozen or more droppers we are all accumulating from repeat orders.

You might offer the droppers separately as an option for only people who need them. Buy your VG and the dropper to go with as two separate items.

My Vote - is to have this as an option for those who want to have "Child Proof" Caps . . .

Persoanlly - I really dis-like them given that most of the time it only stops me from being able to open the bottle and I have to stuggle opening it with a pair of plyers or break the top off completely . . . I am then stuck looking for another container to put the "Nic-Juice" in and a bottle I can not use at all . . .
