Is that high enough for a mod? What does that convert to in amps because the batteries I have now are 20A in that spec area?

A 1.5 capacity rating is on the low side..it wouldn't be enough amps to use a dual coil on if it was a single battery or a low resistance atomizer/cartomizer. I'm sure others will come along to explain it better though.

Depends on the battery really. 1.5C , C = capacity or mAh. So a 3000 mah battery would be 1.5 x 3000 = 4500mA or 4.5 amps would be the max discharge. 4.5 amps is plenty enough to vape off of.
