First, I've heard that the new anodized have upgrade thicker wiring in them. Do you know if that is true ? Also will the telescope mod extend large enough to take a 18650+kick ?

Not sure about the bolt - can't help you there!

Telescope will fit up to an 18650 without kick. So with the kick 18490/18500 is the biggest you can go.

dhd is correct, I have a few telescopes and a few kicks and they are NOT large enough to take an 18650+kick....But, they will take an 18490/18500+kick...... and they work quite well together.....

I also have a chrome bolt/w chrome button, with the old small wiring and I've had no trouble with an 18350+kick, and I've been using that combo regularly for quite some time now!

For the bolt, you'd need two extentions to use a kick and 18650. I dunno if you can kick a 18500. The extra is to use the 18650. 18500 is just the unit. You can use a 18350 if you have the insulated battery spacer thing.

The extensions and sizing of the bolt I'm familiar with. I had one and loved it until the razor thin wire that smoketech uses in those things burnt through. I would buy another in a heartbeat if I knew that they had upgraded the wiring. When I was asking about the 18650+kick I was specifically asking about the smoktech's telescope mod.

????...... Ive been using a bolt with an 18350+kick for a long time. I dont think there is an insulated spacer for the bolt, theres an extension spacer so you can use an 18490/500+kick. but Ive never seen an insulated spacer for the bolt...

Now hearing you say that you've been using a bolt with a kick for awhile makes me think I should just get another one anyway. But I know I'm not the only one to complain about the thin wiring in the bolts. heck all I ever really used on mine at the time was boge lr cartos that were between 2-2.2 ohms. And that thin wiring was burnt right thru the middle.

Spacer. That's what I meant. Battery spacer. Not bolt spacer. For 18350 and..... oh..... nvm
