My two big questions about cutting with VG-

1) When you mix in VG with the nic juice, does it lower the nic content?
2) What are the mix ratios? Or does it matter?

I know there are probably answers to these somewhere around here but there is so much stuff to look through! The Library/FAQ/The Entire Forum... LOL It's a little overwhelming when you first start digging into it all.

Mix ratios are USUALLY 1:1 (ie 1ml to 1ml) which you can eyeball rather than measure in a cup. You WILL lower the nic level doing this and also the falvor unless you get the no-nic (zero nic) version of the juice you have with nic in it. ALmost all juice vendors sell 0 nic versions of their juices (and you can usually get the no-nic flavors with a higher VG content if you wish, I know Tasty Vapor does this option on their 0 nic versions called 'doublers') and if you use one of those to dilute you wont affect flavor (but you will still lower the nic content).
Its also a good idea to have some 0 nic around for when you just want to pacify vape.
You can use plain VG to mix with but be advised that you will lose flavor along with nic content.

I downloaded Easy E-Juice Recipe Creator (ECF Forum Desrtrat). I haven't got my supplies yet, but from just checking out the program it looks really good. And it will calculate the percentages for you.

You can mix 2 E-juices, PG and VG, Water, Alcohol, and 3 Flavorings. You can also save your calcs for later use.

I haven't figured out how to put in linkbacks yet, but you should find him in this forum.

good luck, Teach

TV's chart for their doublers,

How Do I Mix The E-Liquid And Doubler?

One of our customers was kind enough to post this on our ECF forum, the math looks good, so we'll save ourselves some typing here. Mixing should go as follows:

If you start with 48 MG E-liquid
36 MG = 3 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
32 MG = 2 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
24 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
16 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 2 parts Doubler
12 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 3 parts Doubler
9.6 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 4 parts Doubler (mixing the whole bottles of each together)

If you start with 36 MG E-liquid
27 MG = 3 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
24 MG = 2 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
18 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
12 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 2 parts Doubler
9 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 3 parts Doubler
7.2 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 4 parts Doubler (mixing the whole bottles of each together)

If you start with 24 MG E-liquid
18 MG = 3 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
16 MG = 2 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
12 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
8 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 2 parts Doubler
6 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 3 parts Doubler
4.8 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 4 parts Doubler (mixing the whole bottles of each together)

If you start with 12 MG E-liquid
9 MG = 3 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
8 MG = 2 parts e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
6 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 1 part Doubler
4 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 2 parts Doubler
3 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 3 parts Doubler
2.4 MG = 1 part e-liquid + 4 parts Doubler (aka mix the whole bottles of each together)
