Hi everyone, I have just recently started vaping, but since buying my first couple disposables, and then shortly after my v2, I haven't had a single analog, and actually prefer vaping over smoking. My question is, what kind of mods and carto/tank combos do you guys suggest?

I don't have an endless amount of money, but I don't really have a budget for this, I'd rather get something really good right away than want to upgrade in a month.

I've researched this quite a bit on my own, and have come to the conclusion that the Boge 2ohm cartomizers would probably be my cart of choice, but I have a few questions about them. Will the standard length (1 inch I believe) be able to fit a standard tank? And if I order them pre-punched is that all I need in order to install a tank on it??
Finally, somewhat of a stupid yet still logical question: when I first learned how to refill my v2, everyone warned so much about over-filling, saying that it would flood something and you'd basically be screwed. So, if a tank essentially keeps your cart as full as possible at all times, what keeps things from flooding and why doesn't your carto or mod break?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

P.S. Saying which vendors you can purchase things from would really help me.

It sounds to me like you are wanting a carto tank. The best device for something like this would be something like the VTube from Apollo.

Apollo VTube Kit

You won't want or need to upgrade for quite awhile, if ever, with something like this.

For this device, I would suggest 3.0 ohm single coil cartomizers. You'll be able to play with the VV aspect and fine tune your sweet spots with juices this way.

Yes, the standard 510 single coilpunched Boge cartos will fit in a regular sized tank. Some people like to buy a tank tool, which helps you get the carto into the tank without damaging the O-rings. There's a nice one called 'slap your momma'.

Delrin Slap Yo' Mama Multi-Purpose Adapter [SYMD] - $7.99 : Big Daddy Vapor

That should be all you need, other than juice of course!

What keeps things from flooding in a tank, is two-fold. Firstly, there is filler in the carto, that keeps excess juice from going into the carto, and secondly, tanks have pressure inside them. It's a physics thing that I can't really explain. but it works very well.

Hope this helps you! I'm sure others will come on and add their expertise as well.

I'm with Kay in the suggestion I have that same setup, the apollo vtube is great and affordable of course if you can get a provari do it by all means. Ialso use the 2.0 boge cartos in stainless steel, don't buy them pre punched just regulars so you can use them as regular cartos as well.

I also have the mom an pop's vapor shop mini sub tank, will accommodate the same boge cartos easily and you can punch your own holes.

Best setup ever!
