yes, I started with a shoebox & still use it for big stuff (original boxes, receipts, etc) but after 2 months I devised a practical "holding tray" for batteries,
juice bottles,
tanks & tools. I got an 8" x 14" plank of oak...bought a $10 set of paddle drill bits...then drilled holes in the plank that fit all the aforementioned items. It works surprisingly well. Holds all my stuff in place while working on my setup( filling
tanks, maintenance, etc ) When it gets bumped (messy desk) all the items stay right there. I drilled about 25 holes and there's still room for more. I've been thinking about commissioning a nicer prototype & offering it for sale.. I have no doubt it would sell.
