Hi everyone.

For those who own a Snow Wolf mod, especially those who have used it for a long time, can you answer me a few questions?

1. About its construction: Is it reliable? Any failed buttons? Any connection problems (both the atomizer and the batteries)?

2. About its function: Any problem when using the TC? Is its TC accurate? Does it read the resistance (or anything relevance) correctly?

3. About its performance: I know it update the screen when you fire it (resistance, voltage, wattage) like dna 200. But do you think it is as good/accurate as the dna 200 chip? Do you think Snow Wolf is better or worse than other TC mod?

I ask those questions because I am interested in the new mods from Laisimo (the S3), the manufacturer of Snow Wolf. And since there is no information about them, I hope the reviews, opinions from Snow Wolf can give me some idea how good or bad it is.

In addition, I am interested in using stainless steel coil in TC. But I don't have the money to invest in a DNA 200 mod. Other than the Laisimo S3, I am also interested in the Joyetech Cuboid (which I believe nearly the same as eVic-VTC). How is that comparing to other stainless steel capable TC mod?

If you have anything to add, other than the questions I asked, please let me know.

Thanks.

I don't have a Snow Wolf so I don't have any reliable information, but I've heard that it can be a bit iffy with titanium. I think it only has ni200 tc, and that pretty much rules out tc with stainless steel.

I'm still waiting on my Cuboid but I have a Wismec Reuleaux rx200 and a Joyetech Evic VTC mini - which use pretty much the same chip and software - and they are great. No problems with tc on stainless steel.

The SnowWolf V1.5 is a good mod for Kanthal and Nickle. If you use any other wire such as SS, Ti, NiChrome it will automatically go into Ni TC Mode, and you cant manually switch between Power and Temp Control. It's a pain when you using a tank with Pre-Built SS Coils. It was decent to sometimes Great in TC mode, but was a pretty early device. I believe the new Laisimos have much better boards in them from what iv read but who knows yet. I'm pretty sure they and Sigelei are using the same boards.

Joyetech Cuboid, Evic VTC Mini, Wismec RX200, Eleaf iStick 100W TC are all are using Joyetechs board which performs very well in TC mode in Ni, SS, Ti, and has custom TCR modes.

The DNA200 mods are very programmable that they have software you download and plug the mod into the computer to change them, which is very neat to me! But the majority take Lipo packs instead of 18650's unless you get the Wismec Reuleaux DNA200 which runs off 3 18650's. A few more 18650 models are starting to show up as-well, I expect a lot of new mods to come out within the next months.

The SnowWolf doesn't officially support any wire in TC mode other than nickel. Other wire types may work, but your mileage will vary.

However, they are very well built and very reliable. I've had mine since they first came out and use it every day. In fact it's all I've used since last June. It's been dropped, used heavily, and gone through all of the normal wear and tear. I've never had a single problem with it.
