after researching E Cigs as much as i can, after first being introduced to their existance not long ago by my girlfriends dad, who has an Intellicig, i just ordered my first E-Cig, the E-Cig-Super from Totally Wicked e Liquids for £14 this seemed like a good deal as it was listed as 50% off, just wondering if this was a good choice?

I was originally looking at the intellicig, but the Super from TW seemed a much better deal. and seemed to make sense seeing as i am a beginner and didn't want to spend too much on my first one, but you can never be sure if cost = quality though

quick unrelated question too.
everyone here seems to talk about VG and PG e liquids, but at Totally Wicked they have 3 types
Aqueous Glycerine
Propelyene Glycol (PG i assume)
and
PolyEthylene Glycol-PEG 400 (which is 60ml for the same price as the other 2 which are both only 50ml)

what's the difference, what why doesnt TW sell VG?

Thanks a lot.

Hi, yes just ask for Glycerol, it is very cheap: Glycerol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ice Blade: Platinum Ice 54mg - Mixing Juice - PG,PEG-400 or VG

thanks, i was thinking about getting the platinum ice mixing kit, which comes with a bottle of platinum ice, a bottle of mixer, 3 flavours,5 mixing bottles, and a pipette/syringe from Totally Wicked for £35

totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/totally-wickeds-dv-premier-range/platinum-ice-eliquid-mixing-kit-2-product.html

after some digging, i think the super mini i ordered is the RN4081, but totally wicked seem quite bad at saying the model number on their site. is £14 a good deal?

AvatarIII,

the mixing kit is nice, be sure to watch the DIY instruction video by Scott on the TW site, follow it exactly! I don't know about the super mini.
have fun ;-)

Yes TW's super-mini is the RN4081 & that is a very good deal.

The first e-cig I bought 2 years ago was a RN4081 from Pillbox (TW). OK, they don't give out as much vapour or throat hit as a 510 or 901 for instance, but that models atties last far longer than others.

It is an RN4081, which is pretty good for beginners, and places like smoking evrywhere and gamuchi sell them for hundreds of dollars in the US. I assume 14quid is close to $30 here in the US, so yes, the price is pretty good. Plus they are a UK supplier, so you do nt have to worry about shipping overseas and customs issues.

thanks emonty!

too late to change my order now anyway, but the super mini comes with: One Atomizer, Two Special Batteries with Motorola Microprocessors, One Battery Charger with UK plug adapter, Five Cartridges of Mixed Nicotine levels, Two Cartridge Holders, One User Manual
seems like a good deal to me. seeing as most other ecigs are in the £20-£30 range.

according to google £14 is actually about $21 so it must be a good deal. (although there's another £2 postage on top)

That IS a good deal, they are $34.99 here in the states for the RN4081 kit.

IF you are serious about vaping, I would buy a Tornado. You will buy it later anyway if you keep it up, and see the limitations of what you are buying.

not sure how serious i am yet, as a light/social smoker i'm really only looking at replacing the handfull of cigarettes i have at the weekend with an e-cig, so i don't think i need to go for anything fancy. and the tornado seems to be in the £40-£60 price range. so perhaps a little pricey for what i actually need. thanks for the advice anyway.

The Aqueous Glycerin is VG.

Vegetable Glycerine/Vegetable Glycerin/Glycerin/Glycerine/Glycerol etc. is all the same thing. Because it has many uses in cosmetics, it is important to make sure the glycerin you vape is USP. That indicates that it is food grade.
Glycerol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to Totally Wicked's website, "Our aqueous glycerine is a blend of glycerine USP and just enough deionised water to thin it to the perfect consistency for vaping." If you look at the recipes in the DIY section of the forum you will see that most include adding water or alcohol to get the correct consistency. TW has simply done that for you.

thanks, i assume it works out a lot cheaper to dilute it yourself?
i think i read that VG is good for vapur, and PG is good for the throat hit, is that right?
and what about the PEG 400 from TW? the library that ckc pointed out doesn't really say anything about it. but it's about 20% cheaper, does anyone have any experience?

Front page of this Forum and just go down a bit. There's a wealth of knowledge in there.

thanks!

when you get the platinum you get a dropper and a cheat sheet on how to mix in drops.
you can upscale drops to ml. just don't use the drops they say for flavoring like lorAnn's Oils. those you only need something like 3 drops in 10ml of juice. some like caramel and others have a stronger flavor. example: making caramel-apple (daily vape), you want about 1 drop of caramel and about 4 of apple per 10ml. i had to cut my frst batch of that 3 times because the caramel was covering the apple taste.
