questions before I order

Hey guys-

Hope all is well. So, I ordered a Janty eGo last week - it hasn't even arrived yet and I'm already fiending for a KR8 8-o Seems like an awesome device for on the go! I had a couple questions that maybe Smilin Steve or someone else could answer for me:

1. I know we can't really pick LED color, so I am wondering if anyone knows what LED colors there are for the chrome, regular length, manual batteries? I'm not terribly picky, but do not really want an orange/red LED as they are too similar to smokes (blue or green would be awesome).

2. This may be an oxymoron, but is there any sort of cutoff to the manual batteries??

Lastly, I just want to clarify the diff between the chrome and the gun metal/platinum batteries. In the link below, can someone tell me if that battery in the middle is the chrome or the gun metal one? Looks chrome to me but just checkin...

There are several LED color options, your best bet is to request the color you want in the "comments" section of your order. They may oblige, if they're not too busy. They are busy all the time, really, but they also try hard to make us happy.

Chrome is the real shiny metallic color, gun/platinum is matte. It's funny, I just looked at their website and I didn't see any reg manuals... odd... Must be some computer glitch, I can't believe they are out of stock...

New batteries have 10-13 sec cutoff.

I think you may be on to something. I just checked the site under "Batteries" and they dont list any manual ones in the regular size. I was looking at the "Ultimate manual kit" and saw that it includes "2 manual batteries" - I assumed they would be the regular size.

Does anyone have experience with the manual shorties and what type of battery life they get with them per charge?

1. Chrome Battery Available LED colors - Blue, Green and Red.
Gun Metal Platinum - Blue, Red or Yellow.
