Questions for first mod

I am going to build a box mod. I have some dse801 parts laying around that I wanted to use. Will a single AA battery power a standard 801 atty? Also, would I be better off doing a box mod with a 501 atty instead. Also (and I know this is a subjective question) how long does a single battery last...a few hours or closer to an all day event?

A single AA battery is 1.5 volts so not enough volts to vape off of. They make a li ion thats 3.7 volts and is the same size as a AA battery. They are called 14500 li ion. You might want to have a look around at mad vapes and see if the have a mod kit you like. Might be the best bet for making a fist mod. They also have a big supply of battery side connectors. Pretty sure a 801 would be easy to find 501 might be harder unless you meant a 510. 510's are easy to find

Sorry yes I did mean to say a 510 atty and I was reffering to the li ion battery. Thanks and sorry for the confussion

So will either the 801 or the 510 last any amount of time off of one li ion battery or is it gonna be like your standard 510 battery that gets you one to two hours if your lucky?

You will get alot more time from a 900mAh 14500 rather than the standard 180(?)mAh 510 batts 4x+ with reg resistance atty. Say you have a 2.4 ohm atty that will be pulling about 1.5 amps so in theory if your mAh rating is spot on (which most are not) you should get about 6 hours of use. Hope that helps.

Thanks that helps alot...btw I just moved away from Spokane a few months ago its nice to see vaping didn't end when I left lol.
