Question about Box mods & 9v batts

As I am new to building mods, ie. box mods, is it possible to use a standard rechargeable 9v battery with a variable volt box mod. And if so, what would I need to keep from burning everything up inside... I have just recently built my first box using a 4 standard AA box with 3 AA batteries. Works GREAT for about the first 2 hours then slowly looses power.

A 9v battery has high voltage, but miserable current, it is actually 6 very small cells inside.

With your AA setup you will probably see better performance by adding a 4th cell, as 3 fall out of a useful vaping range too quickly.
