Hi everyone,

I'm just starting out and I have some questions... I bought a Blu last week and was told by a co-worker there is much better things out there. Well, he was right and my eGo-CC came in the mail Tuesday! So far it's 1000 times better than the Blu. One thing I noticed is when I plug the battery in to the charger sometimes the charger gets kinda hot. It's not burn your finger hot and the battery itself does not get warm. Just making sure that's normal.

My next (probably dumb) question is can someone explain steeping to me? I just ordered some stuff from Backwoods Brew and from what I gather from reading through here I might have to let them sit for a bit before they taste good. Do I just take the cap off and let it sit? I know, kinda dumb, but I am brand new at this

Thanks!

Welcome Jillian! It's always nice to see another member from MA!

No question is dumb, there's a lot to learn. You'll do fine! Lucky you to have a co-worker help you get started. I picked up a Blu kit and found ECF which made all the difference for me. Congrats on the eGo. A lot of people love them. I don't know specifically about your charger getting hot, I'm sure someone else will chime in with that info.

Steeping is really aging. If the juice has alcohol in it you can store it in a cool, dark, enclosed place for 12-24 hours with the cap off to let that evaporate. Then put the lid on and let it set. Giving it a really good shake daily helps too. Try the juice periodically. I find some I like when I get them and others improve over time. When it's ready really depends on the juice and your taste preference. Some people have suggested ways to age the juice faster, I haven't tried them. I keep cheating and tasting! Have fun & happy vaping!

I have an eGo clone, and yes the charger gets a little warm, but should be a major concern.

That pretty much sums that up!

Been vaping for just at a month, myself. I have learned so much from the great folks here. Welcome to the great world of Vaping!

My eGo charger gets warmer than room temp, but definitely not hot. The only charger I've ever had that got hot was my Kindle charger, and it was defective. It stopped charging not long after that. You might want a backup charger.
