Questions from a Noob

ONE WEEK SMOKE FREE yay! I just ordered everything to make my own juice. I've spent a lot of money on supplies this week, I need to try to save somewhere. Anyone else done this? Kinda nervous about it since im such a NOOB. Also, where can I learn more about voltage.

On another note I bought the mega clearomizers and they seem to be tasting burnt. Not all the time, but sometimes. Could I be melting the plastic stopper? I don't get it.

Also, I got cartomizers and i think I hate them. I've filled them and i have to draw really hard to get anything and when I do its not satisfying. I think I just have been ruined by clearos.

Any advice is appreciated.

We have a DIY section on this forum under tips and tricks section with many people who can help you with any questions or concerns you have. I recommend reading the forum as much as possible before you make any juice particularly the safety and caution measures regarding handling nic.

Thanks for the reply, i'll head over there. I have researched it in depth and I work in medicine so I feel pretty confident I can do it all safely. I just dont want it to taste like crap, lol.

Do you know the resistance of the cartos you got? Might be why you have to pull so hard. The ones that are burning could be underfilled

Gratz on your one week! Im almost to my month mark and couldnt be more excited!

Ive been thinking about DIY juice but havent gone all out yet. Seems cost effective once you get going.

As far as saving, I havent saved a whole lot yet myself. Im trying way too many things I think, lol.

I havent tried any clearomizers yet. If they are the ones Im thinking about, they just dont seem like they would work very well.

Which cartos have you tried? Ive been overly happy with the Boge cartos. One thing you have to make sure is that they get a sufficient soak on thier first go, especially with thicker juices, or they can burn and become a waste from the get-go. As far as draw, they almost seem a little airy, but I have already gotten used to them. The smoktek dual coil cartos seem to be a little tighter on the draw than the Boge.

What is it you were wanting to know about voltages? If you dont have variable voltage you can get lower resistance cartomizers, atomizers, etc.
