Just curious, as I've been looking at a lot of epipe mods out there and i can't seem to see what, if anything, would still allow me to use my EGO-L or any other RDA. Wouldn't the near horizontal angle just make it leak all over the place? Clearos seems kinda funny to use when I'm hoarding pipe NETs which just gum them up in less than a day.

Also... as much as I'd love to drop $125 on an epipemods.com build, my wife would annihilate me. The smok, or one of the crazy cheap suckers from fasttech would make more sense, financially.

Are there any other options in the $75 or less range that work well?

Head over to http://epipemods.freeforums.net/ all types of fun stuff pipe related to talk about. Tell them josh sent you. I recommend saving up for an epm, but if you can't afford one start out with a cheap king pipe. If you get a bent stem you can drip without going horizontal just make sure when you set the pipe down you rest it dripper facing up

I agree with the above, and you can get a Smoktech Chrome for under $50. It is pocketable, rugged, and so far the longest lasting "pipe" I own. I just bought an EpipeMod, and love it, but you are gonna have to part with $125+ for one. There are a few other cool ones, like the E-Kross VV, but I like the full mechanical-ness of the Smok Chrome, and how long 18350 batteries last in it. Got some posts up here about all that. ;)

Ha. Fire, yeah. Sounds bad.

Ended up ordering the Kamry K1000 as an entry level epipe. We'll see how that goes.

Sent from my Nexus 7

I think you'll be happy with it. It's a good size, shape, and weight, and the 510 connection is pretty nice.

If I wanted to buy a non-ePipeMods piece, the K1000 would be my choice.

I don't own one, but I did get to mess with one at a local vape meet. The owner says he's pretty happy with it, and uses it as his "beater" pipe.

Looks great RPGZealot!! I have a silver one and it's still going strong. One warning, there isn't much tension on the switch and no safety. I set mine one the stand once and it rolled over with the switch pressed. When I went to pick it up it was HOT!! Lucky it cold have been worse. No damage though thank goodness. Great pipe I just wish they had put more spring tension in that switch!! Mines silver BTW,

How are you liking yours?

Thanks :) Loving it. The button, I agree, is a wee bit over-sensitive. It can be pressed down hard enough to produce a soft click, but apparently any pressure activates it. That could be problematic, but I pretty much just keep it on a stand at my desk. It's my house vaper.

Great!! I think my button has grown even more sensitive with use. So far it still works good though. No more misfires since that one experience but I take the battery out when I carry it around.

So, I've gotta do a semi-retraction here. More than a couple of folks I know have these pipes, and over half of them have experienced some sort of failure with the connector or the wire running down to the bowl. That's not to say one shouldn't buy this pipe, just do some research on these issues and decide if you can deal with it yourself. If so, I'd say it's still a good buy.

Agreed...but for an extra $25 you could for sure find a epipemods pipe in the classies...and those are hand made, ALWAYS repairable if anything goes wrong, and though not warrantied per say you will get exceptional customer service at least, if not a free repair and cleaning (depending on severity of issue) when you send it in.

Personally, I would go with one of these

PipeSmtih - Woodsman Series E-Pipes

You can;t beat that price for a handmade pipe, and one that would come with communication/connections/support of the pipe smith himself. I haven;t used one myself, but they are getting good reviews and the pipe smith clearly knows his stuff
