Questions Re Tank Atty, drip tip, manual vs auto battery

I'm not new to vaping but have some questions as I am looking to change up a bit.

I've been using the 901 system for a couple of years and have had mixed results.

1. What is the difference between the tank atty and the drip tip system?
2. I usually use valuevapor.com but do not see drip tips there for the 901. Does the drip tip work for the
901?
3. Does the drip tip need to be used with a manual battery to prevent juice from dripping down into the battery?

On this last question, I welcome as much elaboration as possible. See, I have had problems in the
past, I think, of juice getting past the atomizer and down into the automatic battery because
of the air hole. Is this something that shorts out the battery life? What can I do?
I currently have a pass through and some auto batteries for my 901. I would like a cleaner burning vape as
I hate the taste of the filter wool.
Any suggestions?

A manual battery would be a terrific upgrade, they are easy to get use to and
offer so much better control on how hot the atty get and when. No chance of
ruining the battery with stray drips.

Equipment has changed quite a bit in the last couple years, cartos rather than
attys are more often used. They have become better performers, with less
hassle, better flavor. You could try a 5-pack for the cost of one atty.

Most 510 drip tips will work on most 901 attys.
