I've been researching on the mechanics of E-Cigs for a research project.

I'm still fairly new to all of this. I'm trying to understand the different types of atomizer - so far i'm familiar with the polyfill design in most disposable / starter kit.

I've seen people talk about single/dual coil(s), low/high bridge, "top/bottom" coil in the E-Go versions.

I've taken several E-Go models apart and i'm having a hard time identifying the atomizer type in the models i have. Is there any good references that explains the mechanics behind each types of atomizer?

Thanks.

Thank you Peepaw - the link you gave was really helpful.

I only have one question left.

The dual coil system - these are usually found in replaceable cartridges right? (i havent found any mention of a dual coil system being included in any e-Go models)

e-Go is just the most popular type of battery. Said battery powers a heating element, one of the types is a cart or cartomizer. The cartomizer contains coils, typically single or double.

More or less a 20000 ft. over view of coils and batteries.

Thanks for your input. I never knew E-Go is actually a name for a type of a battery. Looks like i still have a lot of things to learn.
