So this is a quick bench test to put a load on some high discharge batteries. Because the mah relates to how high the cell will discharge I tried to keep them as close as possible. I tested the Panisonic 2250mah , Efest IMR 2000mah, Sony 2250mah and an Ultrafire 3000. I used a boge 1.5 ohm carto that tested at 1.6 ohms on my multimeter. I tested each battery at a full 4.2v peak charge for 5-6 seconds each so the voltage could normalize. There was a clear and present winner, we will start with the low one first. Ultrafire 3000mah tested at 3.6v. Next was the Efest IMR 2000mah at 3.85v. The #2 spot goes to the Panisonic at 3.9v. And the star of the show was the Sony 2250 at 4.05v. Take from this what you will, but know I have been messing with Lithium batteries for a very very long time. I have Raced very high end Rc cars and Helis and we have been using lithium batteries for 10+ years. So if you want a really good high end cell for a mech go with the Sony!!!!
