Quick question about istick 50w

I have noticed in most of the pictures i see that people screw their clearomizer directly into the mod box. I have been using the little attachment that comes with the kit that extends the cleromizer up off the box (don't know what the peice is called) because i found it was easier to screw the atlantis off of it this way without accidently opening the tank and spilling liquid.

My question is, is there any real difference in proformance with screwing it into the attachment rather then directly onto the box??? I tried both and didnt notice too much of a difference but im still new to mod box and sub ohm tanks having only had this set up for around 3 days now.

If you don't notice a difference then you are all good. What you are using sounds like a beauty ring.

Edit: Is it a 510-ego adapter?

If your tightening the Atlantis to the istick so tight that when you attempt to remove it the tank separates from the base ( opening the tank ) instead of the base un threading from the 510 connection you are severely over tightening it.

Yes it is the 510 ego adapter...and i do have a ring from my last setup that goes onto it...just pretty much wanna know from a more advanced vaper if you get a better vape without using the attachment

the extra connections shouldn't make much difference I guess, especially on new equipment, and so long as you're not using very low ohms.

no it's just so you don't flood down in it or strip the threads with tightening it too tight...I just screw it right in and I got mine in October and progressed up to a 30 and never flooded it once or stipped the threads..I have three adapters in my gadget drawer *shrugs*

vape is the same either way

there's a lil picture above the post reply box and you can do it that way..

I type fast so I do the html tag (omit the ") "["img"]" right mouse click on the image online you want (if it's on your pc upload it with the picture icon) then inbetween the brackets in the tag right mouse click paste the url between these"["/img"]"

The beauty ring is just that...for the beauty/aesthetics as some tanks wont sit flush against the mod.

I loved my 20w istick...stopped holding a charge after a few months though Owner of my fav local vape shop thought it might have to do with running a 1.0 coil on my dripper. So a word of caution, stick to tanks or only run "normal OHM" if you go with a dripper. Hopefully you'll get more life out of it.

Definitely get the beauty ring mentioned in an earlier post, screw it all the way into the adapter, then back it off to snug against your tank.
