Does the magnet upgrade like the nemesis work with all other mods? like the caravela or others?
My caravella clone has the smoothest switch; maybe a QC fluke who knows.
Out of the box and vape, the nemesis is hard to beat; but you are stuck w/ body seam above 18350.
The vella uses different length pins which may take a little tinkering at first; then you have a one piece 18500 or 18650. Vella has little real estate for magnet; not sure if possible?
Caravella 18650 batt tube is one beautiful tube.
Nemesis 18650 requires 18350 tube plus an extension ring. This creates a body seam and bugs the OCD.

...... My clone is nearly invisible as well, but the switch on the clone is really weak. But FWIW Vaperev offers real Nemmy switches for ~$30, so between 01Vape's $30 clone and a real switch you can have an amazing clone for ~$60.
What are the differences between clone nemesis switch and real nemesis switch?
Physically they appear the same, but the tolerances are worlds different between my real and Hcigar clone. When the real switch is installed it will not allow any lateral movement. The clone will allow for a slight twist, like the set pin tolerance is off. The crunchiness you feel in the clone is nearly non exist ant in the real switch. You may feel a slight drag if you depress the far outside edge of the real switch, but no matter where you try to depress it it functions smoothly, without binding up like the clone. On the clone I get a slight rock of the button when I grab it and move it side to side, on the real Nemmy there is no movement. When I depress the clone I get a solid feel where it contacts to fire, and I can feel it release. With the real Nemmy you have almost zero feedback, and the only real feedback is noticed if you pay attention to it. The pin on the real Nemmy is not chamfered, where the clone is. The clone looks like brass, where the genuine article is silver. The top of the switch button is just barely touched with a chamfered edge, while the clone has a distinct chamfer. The clone switch has bound up in the fire position on me a couple times, but never on the real switch.
While the clone does feel better with the magnets, I am thinking about getting some more for it and stacking it. IMO the real Nemmy with 3 magnets (2 stacked in the button and one on the battery tube end) in it was too stiff, but with 2 it was perfect. I can place my real Nemmy on it's base with 2 magnets in the switch with my Russian or Aqua (both heavy attys) and it will not fire, with the clone it does fire more than 1/2 the time. The clone needs to be locked whenever not in use, but the real Nemmy only gets locked when in my pocket.
I tried cleaning the clone switch and polishing it to no avail. I tried using dielectric grease to no avail. I just don't really see how one can fix the slop in the clone to make it as good as the real Nemesis.
Don't get me wrong, the clone is a fine unit for a starter mechanical, or as in my case; a great unit for work where it stands to be abused. I work in a harsh environment and don't want to take chances with the real deal. I bought the real Nemmy first, and thought I would use my eVic for work... but I was so enamored with the Nemmy that I had to have one for work. Sorry, but I am not carrying a $200 mod to work where the potential for damage is fairly significant... But I assure you that when Vaporev has the buttons in stock, I will be buying a few; it is that much nicer.
Excellent response.
I have a punch set that allows me to punch out Nemesis magnet sized washers. I use milk jug for thick shim washers and coke can for thin shim washers. Using these shims I can adjust switch throw tension on the fly. I remove shims for 18350 and add a couple shims under magnet for no autofire 18650 mode. Works great.
I also make shims for other mods. I can whip that pesky Origin delrin system into shape w/ DIY shims.
I think Vaporev is messing with us, lol. Those switches have been out of stock like forever.
I bought the magnets from Vaporev, and they come with a plastic spacer between the magnets. The inside diameter is a tad too small to use over the center of the button. I thought about knocking the center out and stacking it, but figured the extra magnet would offer an enhanced magnetic field, which is why I have decided to buy another couple sets. I may try to knock out the center just for a goof to see how it effects the switch since you seem to have some success with it. Thanks!
Have FT SS Origin and it is a slim beauty.
More voltage drop than nemesis clone but vapes fine supra-ohm.
May require a little tinkering unlike nemesis.
