Can someone recommend me a mech mod clone, based on personal experience?

Yes it is possible but it takes some adjusting. I received 3 mod clones this week, nemy, sting, and the tree of life. The only one that worked right out of the box was the tol, works great, and takes all of my 510s. I had all sorts of issues getting the other two to work.
my next mech will be an infinate stingray for sure. but the cronus is a beast !

The Infinite Tree of Life by Infinite is the best clone I own. It is pretty spot on to the original (I have inspected the original in depth down to the spring). It doesn't have magnets, but they can be upgraded with the right Chi You magnets (NOT THE 2mm SET). That said, the switch is very good. The Tree of Life is a VERY GOOD clone, and it hits like a train. You'll also see a lot fewer of them than you will any of the others.
The hcigar Brass Stingray is also very good.
If you like side buttons, the hcigar 69 is a good purchase.
