Hey everyone, I just bought some new batteries for my e-cig. The brand I use is called Total, so I called them up and they sold me a "battery bundle" of 3 "Total XL" batteries. According to the company, they are supposed to last twice as long as the regular batteries (although they don't cost twice as much). Now I've noticed that some other manufacturers have "XL" versions of their batteries and was just wondering the following: In general, do these "XL" batteries really live up to their name? Do they last longer and are they worth it? I paid about $40 for 3 of these XL batteries, but I am only waiting for my old two batteries to completely die before I make the switch over to them. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, everyone!

In general, the larger the battery, the longer it will last. Just depends on how many batteries you want to carry or be recharging.

Yeah, I totally agree with you on that one. My carrying case will fit all 3 batteries, so hopefully I can charge 'em all up and then have a day's worth of worry-free vaping ahead of me.

You didn't mention the size but, if they are near the size of a cigarette, don't expect more than around 3 hours off a charge. Unfortunately, there are a lot of vendors that make claims that just aren't true.

I've never heard of Total. That doesn't mean they are bad but, I can't say they are good either. Just be prepared, most of us started by paying way to much for a kit that didn't perform well.

280 MAH is going to be about 3 hours on a charge.

I agree with Rat, IF you are a light to average vaper. 100 mAh = 1 hour of light to moderate vaping. But of course you still have the battery drain problem with these batteries so the last half of the battery charge is not nearly as good as the first half. So you really only have about 1.5 hours of good battery performance.

Instead of carring around all these batteries and needing to charge them all every night, you would be better servered to get a model with a 1000+ mAh battery that is only slightly bigger (sharpie pen), like the Kgo or E-Power 510.
