Hello everyone

I have been vapeing for about 2 weeks and lovin it, when i ordered my kit from canvape i also ordered Ultimate Carto Sampler Kit to go along with my PV. Everything in it works great im really diggin the duel coil cartos and will be getting more them them for sure. I haven tried out the Extreme Vision's yet.

But i think im haveing a prob with this Smoktech 6ml Tank Dual Coil Cartomizer Clear With Drip Tip
It seems when im useing it i get alot of air flow that i think is messing up my vapeing with it, i have to really haul on it to get a good hit. Am i not using it right? i watched a video on how to fill it and that was easy. I just cant get a good hit off it there so much air being sucked it its crazy. Any ideas?
Is there some sort of cone i can use that will slow down the air flow?

thank you.

If your getting little to no vapor it could be a defective carto, it happens sometimes. Try a new carto and see how it goes. Also the first initial fill of the carto is the most important, make sure that the carto is properly wet before using it.

What i do is i fill up the tank and then add around 10-20 drops inside the carto itself and give it a hand wiping motion to force the juice to go deeper into the carto. After that i give it a few dry draws for the air pressure to suck up the juice into the carto and then i let it sit for at least 30 minutes before using it. It also depends on how thick your juice is. With thick juice you will have to slot the cartos for the juice flow to be correct, else it will get dry pretty mighty fast. If you using a standard 70/30 pg/vg juice thou you should be fine with the small slot it already has.

Hope that helps

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I find tanks give nowhere near the oomf of a stand-alone carto or an atty. Especially when drawing more than once every 5 minutes. They seem slow to auto-feed into the carto. There is a minor improvement by drawing a few times without activating the elements but that can be annoying to have to constanly be huffin' on the thing. I am going to experiment with cutting a slot as some have suggested, if only to see if that is indeed why I am getting weak hits on a tank. They seem to start strong then get progressively milder after a few drags, and I find spiking the carto with a few drops works but it invariably gets airy and bland unless constantly feeding it.

Using low resistance dual coil cartos worked a bit at first, but they ultimately perform only marginally better. Overall I am disapointed with tank performance but I may still be doing something wrong. Hard to say what though... I am doing everything short of modifying them in the manner I described. Bets on me finding that all I have done is create a leaky tank? ;)

I'm mostly a carto tank user and do like the smoktech punched cartos because of the flange on the bottom but personally find the hole to be too small.I've started punching another hole right beside the one it comes with and for me it works much better--you could also try making the existing hole bigger with a nail.I use a saddle valve myself to make the hole--got it at Home Depot...

Just picked up a couple of smoktech tanks and cartos.

What ratio of PG/VG are you running through your 2 hole cartos?

I use 50/50--I do find they work ok with their existing very small hole--definitely better with two for me(punched right beside the original one).Someone using a higher PG ratio might not find it necessary although I think it still might work better with a bigger hole.

Is the new hole the same size? I have some 70/30 that should be able to keep up with the original hole, but I know that the Boba's Bounty 100% VG is going to need some work
