Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out here.

I've got a 4.2V - 420mA charger, model number USB-QR that I purchased here: [REDACTED]
I'm trying to charge this thing here: [REDACTED]
Battery is a Joye 650mAh EGO-T 2 upgrade.

Just wondering if this thing is gonna blow up on me. When I first plugged it into my PC the light on the charger was green, indicating full charge. I tried using the battery, but no vapour was being produced, so I figured it was dead. When I held it on for more than a few seconds the battery light would blink and go out. Again, I guess that mean the battery is dead.

Anyway if anyone can shed some light onto this for me, that would be fantastic. I've had a look around but can't seem to find anyone with this particular setup. Oh, also, would plugging it into the mains power be faster than USB charging?

Thanks a lot!

Yep, I redacted them myself. Forum rules. They're from VapeKing if you really wanna look into it.

Thanks for the heads up with the wall socket thing. I'll get onto that right away. I'll have to keep an eye on it though, even from the USB plug it's getting pretty warm.

Cheers buddy.

If anyone else has something to add, please do. This is my first e-durry so I'm really pretty clueless lol

Ego charger and Ego USB/wall adaptor

Best to use only the charger and USB/wall adaptor that your battery came with at the time of purchase. If the battery did not come with the above, that is what they should look like (see pics). The USB/wall adaptor which some cell phones use should work fine.

Using a computer USB port or automobile USB port may provide too little or too much current for either the charger or the battery which could damage either or both.
