Well maybe its been done before. Basically its a dual AAA box dremeled out to fit a 14500 batts with led and micro switch, can't complain, works like a dream, its a kr808 tip so without a switch I just unscrew the carto in my pocket n worst case I have an led glowing in my pocket

Awesome! But I think you can go smaller! Would a 510 XL be skinny enough to fit inside, but long enough to have a little bit sticking out of the top with the connector mounted closer to the bottom of the box (with enough room for the switch and LED of course)?

Easy to do with a 10440 bat, but a 510 connector would not fit beside a 14500 bat in that box.

TJ. I tried to do this in my first 2 AAA box. Unfortunately, I had a tact switch instead of the soft micro switch. Then again, mine has the master switch in the bottom too. Ended up frustrated, bc my hole for the carto to go in was off center and took out part of the top and then the epoxy I was using for the switch was like waiting on water to dry... needless to say I just pitched it. lol Waiting on the micro switch to get here and then it's back to square one. I plan on using JB weld this time and, of course, hot glue. Can't wait to have small mod I can keep in my pocket without working that the carto is going to snap off the connector.

Here is one a lil smaller Its a mod Para made for me, it takes a 14250 batt, 18350 is only there for a size reference.
