Congrats! Me too after 30 years! Never thought I could but I'm loving my vape more! It's been almost 2 years since I smoked!

Vaping makes it easy to quit. I quit after 35 years. 3 weeks smoke free and I never even think about the analogs.
Congrats. I too was close to 30 years. Been off analogs for 1 month. It has actually been very easy for me. I just keep telling myself I have just switched brands. I had one serious panic during the first week were I frantically searched my pockets for my Marlboros. It literally took me a good minute to remember that I no longer was smoking and that my ego was sitting on my desk. I vaped like a mad man for the next ten minutes just laughing at myself.
My hubby laid them down after 20 years, I am SO proud of him! Proud of you too! Trying is the first step and you have aced it! It only gets better from here! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...Way to go! I smoked my last analog a couple weeks ago, after being a smoker since 1979. Now I'm working on a couple other old soldier co-workers to get them to see the light.
it might not seam like 3 days of smoke free is a big deal but for most of us here, after smoking for 30 its HUGE. We understand how hard it is. Congrats
2 Packs a day for 30 years no analogs for me since January 31 2013!!!! Vape hard!!!!
dont go crazy ex-smoker here. This does not work for most.Just enjoy the fact you gave them up.
I quit three days ago, but I'm vaping like crazy. 24 mg's makes me not miss the analogs too much. Hopefully I can taper the vaping down a bit in the next couple of days.
When I went cold turkey previously, I started picking up smells and taste pretty quickly. Now that I'm vaping instead of cold turkey, I am not noticing this as much. Is this normal?

I've vaped a fairly long time and my sense of smell is amazingly better. I can smell when my poodle takes a dump upstairs when I'm sitting in my recliner downstairs. That's shocking to me! Lol. And the smell of cigs and cig smoke is horrible. Can't believe I did it for so long.
