hey yal

Sorry if there was a thread like this, I didn't find one. I picked up vaping again to help me avoid cigarettes, but as the title suggests, I'm hoping to still be able to smoke cigars occasionally. So maybe I was over thinking this, but I had a couple thoughts, and maybe you could give me your thoughts, particularly relating to efficiency of nic delivery

I was thinking that an important part of quitting cigarettes might be to disassociate the lung hit, and just get the nic absorption through the mouth and nose. A few solutions came to mind

1. higher nic juice to compensate for not inhaling
2. lower nic and just inhaling
3. try for a chewier vape to help associate more with a cigar like draw

I'm still trying to put together ideas too, and how to actually implement but I wanted to put it out there first

Thanks

Definitely higher nicotine will help with the transition from smoking to vaping. it's nice to get that feeling of the nicotine going into your body & for me it helped not think so much about cigarettes when I was transitioning. No need to do lung hits with a PV as nicotine is absorbed in your mouth rather than needing to go into your lungs. But for a simulation to smoking a device that provides a good throat hit is helpful.

Have you considered the Zeus PV? I know you said you wanted to stick with cigars but this device is larger like a cigar & it performs well too. It's also got an end that's rubbery so you can chew on it like you would a cigar. You might like it. Just a suggestion. :)

Here's a link for their site for you to check out their products. http://www.vapor4life.com/vapor-zeus-dual-mode-ecig-starter-kit

I had quit cigarettes for 5 years and moved to cigars but found I was smoking 3-4 cigars a day. I moved to Vaping and found bigger devices to my liking as far as the "feel" of a cigar. I also use larger (wide bore) drip tips to simulate my 60g cigars. There is also a soft e cigar although I do not know who makes it. I found it did not take much to completely give up the cigars. Good luck in your quitting the cigs that is the most important thing!

I first reaction was, yeah, maybe you were over thinking it.

But then again, you said you picked up vaping AGAIN, so maybe the thing is it didn't work the first time, so how to make it work now.

Look for a vape store and see if you can sample some juices I think.
And unlike smoking, you can keep 2 different tanks with 2 strengths of nicotine available; so you can use one as your normal vape but if you need a nicotine hit you just use the other one brieflyl
