This is day 5 with NO analog cigs, after 40 yrs of 1 1/2-2 packs a day!
I am using 510 and love it. I have a car charger and PCC along with extra atomizers and plenty of juice.I have bought most of my stuff from Cignot.
My questions:

Are the cartridges good forever?
How often do I need to change the filler?
Can I buy factory filler? Where?

Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

Regarding the cartridges, no, they do not last forever, after you fill them up 4-5 times you will begin to see that they do not accept as many drops of E-liquid as they did when new. One of the things that you can do about this is to obtain a needlebottle

Fill it with your liquid and then push the needle to the bottom of your cart and squeeze and fill the cart from the bottom up.

The filler material will only last so long, you can take it out and rinse it under hot water and dry it and that will help to make it last but after a while it will not absorb a lot of liquid. Personally, I do not think that it is worth getting extra filler material and re-filling the cart with it, when you can get a package of 5 brand new carts for under five bucks or so, or even cheaper from China.

Welcome:toast:
Personally I have had some carts for 8 months. Little rough around the edges but they still work.

As far as filler goes, I pretty much recycle it. Just rinse it out and dry it with a paper towel and you are ready to go. I also have a bag of pillow stuffing, which is about the same thing and I will never use it all up.

As far as the fish filter material, I have tried it and it works well. My problem with it is I seem to go through juice a lot faster.

Now the recycling of juice I just can't go there.:p That is when you put all the filters in a syringe and squeeze the juice out. I suppose if you only use one type of juice it might be ok, but personally I keep changing. I just can't stick to one flavor.

I wish you all kinds of good luck:D

I've been using the same carts for MONTHS!! And, here's a little 'trick' so you don't have to keep topping off as often..

Here's what I do...see how long the polyfill is? Doesn't have to be. Take it out of the cart. Cut it into 3 separate pieces using SHARP scissors. Fill the empty cart up with liquid up to the little 'ledge' you see on there, where it goes into the atty. I can usually get anywhere between 10-13 drops in it. Then, take the LITTLE piece of polyfill and pop it back on the top, leaving about 1mm or less of space from the edge of the cart and you're good to go.

I've tried various types of cart mods that require removing the filler, filling the cart, then replacing the filler and find I just don't like getting juice on my fingers. Even using tweezers required me to place my finger on the filler to hold it in place when I removed the tweezers.

So, I've gone back to the full length filler and either drip onto it or use a syringe to fill it. True, it may require filling more often, but I'll bet I can fill 3 full filler carts to your 1 where you have to remove the filler plug.

I'm a newbie too. 50yrs @ 1 1/2- 2pks a day. Am 33 days without an analog. Had same question on the carts. Thanks for the post and reply.

BTW where can I get a needle bottle?

I bought mine online but I think that they can be found in hobby stores and possibly craft stores.

well don't bother w/ that and just use either a coffee straw or cut and roll tight a regular straw and use that as an air valve to the bottom of the cart. that way the air goes through and u can just drip from the top (plus it allows air to enter to keep the part closest to the atomizer wet ;)
