Bought direct from QZI
I purchased the SS option with glass 2ml tank and no ego cone.
Cost $80 with free shipping and was shipped within 3 days of payment.
Ok, before I even talk about the Mini, I must mention the communications and service from these guys
as it is easily the best that I have ever had. From before I ordered right up until now, the quick, friendly
honest and helpful replies and PMs has been excellent. These guys genuinely give a ....
that their customer is happy!
The QZI Mini arrived fully assembled and was pre-wicked and coiled (a lot better than I can do it) and also
included an extra piece of mesh and some wire. Externally, it is a solid, extremely well-built and highly polished atty.
The size, shape and the polished appearance fit with all my personal preferences and the fact that it is hand-made
also give it the uniqueness that I like. There is a tiny difference in size between the tank and the topcap, which cannot be
seen but can be felt when running my fingers down it, but that is something that I expect from a hand-made item and it
only adds to it's individual nature. As you can see from the photos, it's a gorgeous looking atty.
Internally, it has a set-up that I haven't seen before and initially had questions about it. The +ve and
-ve pins are placed at either side of the atty, with a wire (that QZI has confirmed as a safe-grade of brass) running from
the centre post to the +ve pin. As mentioned at the beginning, QZI was willing and able to answer
every one of my questions with honesty, openness and knowledge and they have assured me that all materials used are
of a grade that is as safe. QZI initially built the atty with a standard centre, +ve pin setup but found that this new set-up
worked better in such a small chamber (and the chamber is wonderfully small [
] )
The proof will be in the performance [

The important bit...how does it vape? Answer - 10/10
Coil changed to a 4/5 wrap 1.5ohm and filled with my usual 24mg American Red, the first half tank or so was good
flavour-wise and a fog machine vapour-wise. Into the second half of the first tank, and every tank since then, the vapour
production has stayed the same but the flavour is outstanding. The tiny chamber gives an intensity to the taste that only
one other atty I have comes close to [
] .
The top cap is attached with two o-rings, which is the method I prefer to allow for personal adjustments, so airflow and
throat hit is easily increased / decreased as desired.
As someone who much prefers custom and hand-made items to the mass-produced and also likes to try stuff from
smaller, less well-known modders, I had to try the QZI Mini. I'm glad I did [
]
I had a couple of initial concerns, but the quality of the atty, its appearance, it's performance and the excellent service
provided by QZI has won me over. This is an excellent little atty that compares to the very best out there
and I am now looking forward with even greater excitement to receiving its big brother, the Megatron!
