It can if you squeeze too much- there is a learning curve. On my Reo, you only want a glistening of juice to peek through the atty holes then you have enough juice to vape. It will be a little different with different mods. You will learn quickly how to use a bottom feed without flooding the atty.

When you see that glisten of juice in the juice well, stop and then take a short unpowered inhale to suck the juice up into the atty. Have you tried the blind squonk? That's where you squonk the bottle while sucking on the atty/carto with no power until you hear a slight gurgle then stop. Take an unpowered short inhale to suck the juice up into the atty like before and you're good to go. This is way easier than waiting for the little glisten of juice in the well.

sure you can flood with a bottom feeder. you'll notice it the first time you get a mouth full of juice. Just don't squeeze the bottle each and every time you need a hit. Also with a reo, the closed system takes care of that problem, and adding a drip shield takes care of it even more.
