Steep time: 5 days

Nic Level: 6mg

Tank/Atomizer: Mephisto dual coil 0.3 ohms cotton wick

Mod: K100 mechanical

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: By itself it's strikes me as a delicate flavor. Nice cherry cherry taste, but not in your face - I really enjoy it by itself. Tried side by side with a generic house juice black cherry from a local B&M it's much more subtle and authentic. The house juice comes on very strong and fills the palette - it's not enjoyable to vape that stuff on the dripper for very long whereas with the RC I could drip it for hours. Mixed with NYCC it really hits a sweet spot for me. The cheese just fills out all the room left when vaping RC by itself. Having tested both RR and RC with the cheese I like the RC much better as a topper. I use about 5-10% and it's just right.

I actually recently received a bottle of NYCC and a bottle of RC to use as a topper. Is that 5 to 10% working well for you? It's not too overbearing at that ratio?

Thanks!

The product page suggests 9 parts NYCC and 1 part fruit topping. I would suggest starting with 5% and see if you want to tune that up or down. I think I saw earlier on this thread someone saying they were using 20%, so you may find you want it well north of 5-10%. The RC is super good. Enjoy! :)

Just loaded up a little of the Rainier Cherry. Vast improvement in a couple weeks. Very good by itself, not an overpowering flavor like one my think a "flavoring" mix would be. Definitely stays true to it's name, with a nice mild cherry flavor. Glad I ordered more before it's demise!

Feeling a stronger mix with the CC than when using Strawberry... I was good around 10-15% with that, I'm going 20% with the cherry.

This is good feedback - maybe one part subjective, but it might be partially due to the MAXVG.

Steep time: 12 days

Nic Level: 6mg

Tank/Atomizer: Veritas single coil 1.2ohms/Magma dual coil 0.7ohms

Mod: VV Semovar/mechanical GP Paps

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: Currently, it definitely tastes like Rainier cherries but has a hint of "young" not quite ripe cherries with a slight floral note on exhale. When the flavor first hits your tongue, you get the tangy cherry that makes your mouth water which tells me this is well on it's way to full potential. Needs a bit more maturity, betting that 4 weeks it will be there. For my personal tastes, it seems Rainier Cherry does not like high wattage, as I actually got better flavor out of the 1.2ohm coil at 6.8 watts than I did the 0.7ohm coil on the mech mod.

Having tasted the prior batch of Rainier Cherry well-steeped, I know this is not quite there yet. However, even in the current state it is very difficult to leave it alone and let it steep.

Mine's not done yet either ;) Cherry is the sleeper of the bunch.

I took most of my bottle of Rainier Cherry dated 9/8/14 and put it into a glass bottle for steeping. I left about 2 ml in the original Nicoticket plastic bottle thinking that maybe the smaller amount would steep a little faster.

Today I mixed some RC from the plastic bottle with some H1N1. About 30% RC and 70% H1N1. It's not bad. Not bad at all. Not quite what I was hoping for but it's pretty good actually.

I'll enjoy this tank of the mixture and then I think I'll put the rest of my RC on a back shelf and forget about it for awhile. Maybe give it another try around Christmas time.

Next time I'll probably do it in 65/35 - MAXVG just takes too much time to mature.

:) Ahhaha VG Soaking three problems when I was in the store I saw a flock of geese screaming for help "because I was a child VG VG VG lungs are very great" worry they burn itown thoughts, and suddenly Bam on the side of my eye, and the pigeons and crawl back restore peace and solid

Clark, after reading your spiel on your background... I think you HAVE found your calling... Not only are you helping us, and countless many to come, but you have an opportunity to try to reverse the effects of the Paste, as I believe Sloth needs help that is beyond what most of us NuTers can provide.

I have a bottle from 7/12/2013 that is 20/80 pg/vg. I hit the bottle a couple days ago and it tasted great! I can bring it with me the next time I see you if you want.

Eh - it's "not bad" - too much VG for my personal taste though... it just don't "POP" like 65/35

You got a bottle over a year old - whoa.

BOOOOO!!!! Good things come to those who wait. It's already delicious and the worst thing that can happen is that it gets more delicious? I fail to see the problem

I'm with ya - I'm just not digging the Cherry right now - you know how it goes... taste is subjective. LMAO
