In the past year, I have been through the whole gambit, cotton, peaches&cream, cheese cloth, butcher's twine, etc., etc., etc. Right now I am perfectly happy with Ecowool and plan on sticking with it for a while, I use SS mesh or rope for my gennys and have had good luck with that.
But we are all different and find different things work for each of us, and the experimenting phase is the most fun!
Saturday is our first fiber festival of the season....I am pretty sure I will have to go outside to vape as they have snitches there I know who certainly complain. Good news is I changed spots this year so the booth is in the back and not far from the outside doors. The last 11 years we were by the from and there are people who will give you looks...like they think you are doing something illegal.
