Can anyone explain or post a diagram of how I attach the 2x22uf capacitors to the 120 watt naos raptor chip while assembling the box mod. These things are so tiny I'm freaking out
From what I can see you should solder them in parallel and the negative goes to ground on the board and the positive to the VIN pin. I would tin the legs and the pins and heat them a little till you attach them. after your done with wiring the board you can fold them out of the way.
I realize now what you were askin.g mamu uses the TDK caps. it has been a few years since i have worked with small electronics and when i seen those on the diagram and looked at them at mouser and the data sheet. i ordered the old style caps for mine also..
I lost my 220 Ohm resistor and was wondering is I could use a 200 pot set to 200 ohm with 1 outer leg attached to center the same as a 200 Ohm resistor. I will lose some wattage I suppose but isn't the Pot with outer leg connected to center leg and glued into position the same as a 200 ohm resistor. Thoughts anyone?
I see, you may use a 200 ohm pot and simply wire the outer legs and disregard the center leg. Doing so would give you the full 200 ohm resistance of the pot. A rheostat could also be used, just be sure that either can handle the correct power dissipation required. Either of these ways will just take up more space than normal resistor.
