I haven't had an atty clog on me, but I tend to be kinda rough with my attys... I have a bad habit of triggering the auto-shutoff feature of my M401s, and then taking another pull. (Former) Swimmer's lungs. I tried my orange creme juice in a carto that I had on my V2 (5v mod) and it tasted about how orange dish soap smells. It was kinda really nasty. Don't know if that is just me, but *shudder* I won't be doing that again.

I've been using the Rath juice for a little while now, and as much as I like it, I might have to stop using it. It tastes great, but unless I want to use a new atomizer and cartridge every day, I just don't see how it can work. I've just been vaping the lemonade and even though the juice is almost completely clear, it's turned the filling in my 510 cart brown, and there's tons of sticky, brown gunk all over the inside of the atty. When I was using the PG juice, I could reuse the carts and attys for quite some time before having to replace them, but this VG stuff is just too thick and it's making a mess. I'm having to really pull hard just to get any vapor at all because my 510 is so gunked up. But I really don't want to go back to the PG because it was making me sick. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there some way to de-gunk the atty without hurting it? Or am I just going to be stuck buying a new atty everyday from now on? Because if I do that, I might as well be smoking real cigs.

I use only VG from various companies and yes, it can gunk up fast, it's not just the rathjuices. Try soaking your atty in some clear high proof alcohol (everclear or vodka works well and it doesn't take much, I use a glass shot glass and just pour enough to cover the attys) soak for about an hour or longer, give it a few good shakes and then rinse your atty with fairly hot, but not scalding tap water, and if you have it, give a final rinse in distilled water to get the tap impurities out if you can. Then blow dry from the threaded side, and leave sitting up on the cart end (threads in the air) to dry over night.I also put my hair drier on the cool setting and let some air blow through from both sides before I leave them to sit over night, but it's not mandatory. I have to clean my atty's out every couple of days of use to keep the build up to a minimum. Might seem like a little work, but not as bad as having to buy new ones constantly. If you are worried about messing the atty up cleaning it, try it with one of your older ones first to be sure you are comfortable with the cleaning process, then you will know if it helps or not before you dunk all your attys. I hope this helps.
