If while pressing the aluminium button, if it were to come in contact with the Reos body, would that cause a short?
No the body of the Reo carries the negative part of the battery signal and the positive is only internal on the firing pin and not on the delrin button. You also do not need to worry about touching the negative signal as you already are when you're holding the Reo.

Received vape mail on foreign soil, at my hotel in Washington DC. A tumbled raw Reo Grand with RM2 and some of Darkzero's work. Can't be happier. Feast your eyes!

No, don't polish it. She's beautiful as is...sigh.

That said, I think I've done something to my tumbled like three or four times now...must...scratch...itch....
