So, i talked myself into getting me a RBA. Well I have let the posts here and youtube videos convince me. I have it narrowed down the the russian or aqua. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions of either or both. i have watched all the reviews but these reviews come from experienced vapors. Experienced I am not. I am however great at electronics and rebuilding stuff. I already rebuild my protank coils, so i dont think the task of building the rbas would be that big of a deal. I do want a tank i can fill and still be able to toss it in my pocket and climb with it. I am under the assumption quite a few are prone to leaking if not maintained in the upright. Also i am sure original equipment is always tighter and has a better quality, but for a newbie I am not sure if the $50-70 difference in the oem and clones are worth it. Unless the OEM's are less likely to leak. Any advice? If it matters I use a vamo 5 and 50/50pg/vg mixes

IMO, get the Russian. It's a clone of the Kayfun which I absolutely love. From what I hear about the Aqua, It's not that different to build but only holds 2ml of juice.

I do have two authentic Kayfuns and one clone from Fasttech. I can tell you that the quality is really (surprisingly) pretty good with the clone, but nothing like the original. I carry at least one kayfun in my pocket and it never leaks. It makes no difference what mod you use them on, unless you have a mechanical, then the coil would need to be a low ohm, but with the Vamo, you're good.

So kayfun or kayfun lite?

We'll that depends on you. The lite (not lite plus) does not have an air adjustment like the 3.1 or lite plus. I prefer an open airy draw, so the 3.1 is my tank of choice. Some folks have complained that the lite is to tight a draw for them.

So I started out exactly like you, rebuilding evod coils and just like you I'm good at tinkering with things. The first rba I got was an ehpro kayfun lite clone and I have to say I love it. I use an mvp2 with my kayfun lite clone filled with 50/50 juice all day long.

Really like my Aqua, easy to build and the first RBA I've owned that isn't too fussy to set up and doesn't leak. I like my Kayfun Lite also, I have just had better luck reproducibly building the Aqua, but I think both are well designed products. Never tried the Russian or other clones so can't comment thereupon.
