I'm totally overwhelmed with info on all this and don't know where to start. I've been reading dozens of threads on rba/rda's and rebuilding atomizers for the Kanger I have wanting to save money on buying coils and it seems everybody has mods or at least vv/vw's with the rda/rba's and we have just regular ego's and no money for new batteries. We are on an extremely tight budget so am I better off rebuilding coils or should I get a rebuildable? I need something new for my DH either way, he's been using little 510 t4 clearos and nobody has them in stock anymore and he's finally using an ego batt. I want to try dripping so I've been looking at rda's for me but want to stay close to ego diameter and for my DH I would need a tank that doesn't leak and is also ego sized and all the recommendations are big and heavy. The rda for me is easier but an rba that is cheap, small and doesn't leak seems impossible-- and do we really need a mod? Any and all advice is welcome, thank you!!

Honestly, I think you may be better off rebuilding the tanks you use now first. It will give you a chance to see if rebuilding is for you, and it's great on the budget.

The thing about RBAs that makes me say wait is that once you have one, you will want to experiment with it more than you can do with straight ego batteries. I'd save the money you're planning to spend on a new RDA and keep saving until you can fit a $40 MVP into your budget. You'll see a world of difference in your vape when you can control the power flow on from your battery.

If your motivation is to save money, building the coils on your current tanks is the way to go. If you want to get more out of your vape, the best move is to save for a VV or VW mod - the MVP is the least expensive and also one of the best reviewed. But getting an RBA and putting it on ego batteries is probably not going be a big change for you.
