What's the difference and what do you recommend? I'm tired of dripping at every red light, don't drip and drive lol, and I need a good rebuildable with a tank so I can vape while driving. I need you guys help! Thanks

You have a lot of choice in rebuildable tank attys. If you like flavor I suggest you go with a Kayfun type. The Aqua is a dual coil version that I like and there are many single coil versions and clones out there. Some of the cheap clones can be difficult. You can put these atty's on their side and they don't leak.

The RSST is a great Genisis type atty, specially if it's your first one of this type because it has a electrically insulated wick hole so it can not short through the deck. It is prone to leak if it's on its side. Flavor with stainless steel mesh is very clean and the wicks last a long time. Other Genisis attys have a much longer learning curve to them. Cotton works very well in them, but then you have to deal with maintaining cotton wicks in a tank system.

As Rat2chat2 said, the Reo is a great system. I have one and when I hit the road I take either that or my Aqua on a tube mod with me.

There are many more, but these came to mind first for me. Good luck with it.

Well, I use an RSST on a Nemesis, and I totally love it. I tried the dripping thing, and for much the same reasons you voiced I went right back to my RSST, built straight genny with a mesh wick and 26 kanthal at .7 ohm. I found I really didn't care for the repetitive dripping ritual, which, being a fiendish chain vaper, doesn't suit me in the least. Nor do I care for cotton wicks or microcoils, dual or otherwise.

I tried the dripper thing because it was so very popular on here, so I thought there might be something to it. Not for me there wasn't. And dripping does not mix with driving any more than texting does. It doesn't even mix with my morning coffee. I'll take my RSST any day over that.

reosmods.com The ultimate dripping IMO. The rm2 rebuildable atomizer is super easy to use. There are other atomizers like the Vision Eternity (or the clone at Fasttech) that holds around 35 drops. Good luck to ya. I'm sure there are plenty of suggestions coming your way. :)

I was gonna say REO. I just picked up a REO Grand and an RM2, and I don't think I'll ever look back. Once I started dripping is knew it was my vape heaven and the REO just makes it better. Just squonk and vape.

Yeah, you are right, not everyone can roll a mesh wick, in fact it would seem very few can really pull it off and get it right. Forget I said anything....

A Reo with a RM2 or any bottom fed dripper is a dripping system you don't have to drip. I have a 6 ml juice bottle in my Reo Grand. Goes into my pocket really well and doesn't leak.

I also have a Trident with dual coils at 0.5ish ohms, a proper dripper you have to actually drip, that I loved until I got my Reo. I've only vaped the Trident a couple of times since I got the Reo. I figure why drip when you can squonk as often as you like ;)

I'm also currently vaping my AGA-T2 with SS mesh at 0.7 ohms on a Nemesis clone that I also really appreciate. As I said before, I feel I get really clean flavor from SS mesh.

Might use my Aqua later on tonight if I feel like it. Got dual coils in it at 0.5 ohms with cotton. That's a really great setup.

They're all good Vaslovik, just different. What people prefer depends on personal preference. Nothing wrong with that :)

A micro coiled RSST or genny with cotton is like the best of all worlds IMO. Low maintenance, tank, leak proof (with plug in) and capable of producing massive clouds. Can any other system make that claim?

26g, .4 ohm.

For comparison my other go to atty is the Magma @ .5 ohms. The magma has slightly better flavor but only slight. The RSST actually chucks more vapor the way I have it built.

3 suggestions:

Pick up a dripper with huge juice wells, such as the Magma. VapingWithTwisted420 has a review out for it where he says it holds ~ 1ml of juice, enough to get him through his daily drive. Still get that dripper vape but only have to drip occasionally rather than every stop light.

Pick up a genny like the Kraken or AGA-T2 and set it up in auto-dripper mode with cotton. Vape til dry, tilt to re-saturate wicks, rinse & repeat until tank is empty. This is what I was doing for the longest, until...

Pick up a Fogger V4. With the air flow control ring off, you're gonna get that dripper airflow that lets you fill your lungs in a few seconds. With the AFC ring on and at the most open setting, it's pretty similar. Flavor? Amazing. Vapor? Amazing. Only complaint I have is the posts are the kind you gotta wrap the leads around, which can cause some distortion when tightening down... Obviously, not a huge deal. Other than that, it's like taking a hit from two kayfuns at once. Unlike the Kayfuns tho... You can tell what your juice level is, no matter what kind of juice you're using (Glass tank rather than plastic). Oh, and the fact the authentic is only $30 definitely doesn't hurt.

Have no experience with the Reo and its toppers, but this mod gets rave reviews, and their website indicates that their customer service is top notch. As for myself, I am a gennie user.

Fasttech carries an absolute glut of gennie clones. Some good, some need tweaking of some sort.
I actually preferred my Aga T2 clones, with the hex nut fasteners, to the 'real' Aga T2, with the knurled nut fastener.
What sorta bugs me about the T2, is how much modding i had to do to it. Ended up drilling out a huge wick hole, so that i could run a lower resistance coil in it.

Rsst--great gennie. Easy to set up, with the spring-loaded pos pin. I always use mesh wicks. If you use a straw wick rolled onto a needle or Allen key or any other frame, a 1-1.5Ω coil will work and wick fine. Youtube tutorials aplenty on line.

I like running sub ohm 0.6-0.7Ω. More wicking is needed to feed this setup and prevent dry hits. Fat wick holes, and more mesh perform better with this coil resistance.

I like my Dids, in particular, my Temon hybrids. But these are pricey, and prob not the best choice for test-driving devices.

My go-to device, as of late, is the Aga T3. FAT wick hole, down through the center of the atty. 325 mesh, 100mm straw rolled onto an Allen key. 0.6Ω 28g twisted 4/3 wrap. Vertical wicks very well. Dry burn now and then is all i need to do to maintain the build.
Rarely rebuild them. Airhole drilled out to 5/64 is all the modding that I had to do to this atty.

It really does take alot of screwing around with this stuff, to figure out the best set-up--for you. Fasttech is great, low prices!! Cheap mech mod clones. Cheap atty clones. SLOW, but VERY reliable shipping. So you wont break the bank whilst trying to find your vaping 'sweet spot'. Kidney Puncher may have slightly higher prices, but i LOVE this vendor for atomizers and rebuildable supplies. They will even customize the atty airholes, if requested!!

GR8 starter gennies--Rsst, and that little Did clone. The little Did clone is loads of fun. Youtube a must!! Learning mesh setups--watch vids, payoff is worth it!!
If you buy Youde devices--buy genuine Youde--inexpensive and high quality!

Plethora of threads on ECF about Kayfuns, Russians, Taifuns and any other bottom coil attys. Busardo has a vid on the Taifun, that i watched. Good Luck BiscuitGTR!!

I have a Kraken clone here to try out and I though I really want to try it with SS mesh, I think the first build is going to be cotton. Posts like yours talking about how good these are make me want to try it out and see for myself :)

I don't setup for ultimate vapor production, I prefer more flavor. My preferred setup for that is a Reo Grand and Chalice rda with dual coils, a bit bigger than micro, at 0.5 ohms and cotton. It's got 6 ml on board (and goes through that pretty quick), never leaks in any position, is very easy to put in my pants pocket, a squonk wets the wicks for a perfect hit every time and with the small air chamber the flavor is up there with the best of them. I could get more vapor than the way I have it setup, but I'm getting more than enough for me already so I'm leaving it as it is.

Nice that we have so many great options these days. Let's hope that doesn't all change soon!
