I was reading the thread about The Killer (looks way cool despite the name), a rebuildable atty in a tank, and Buzzsaw46 used the term "RBC" (rebuildable cartomizer), which is the first I have heard of this.

I just got into actually coiling and wicking RBAs this week, and have my T+ going great, but still like the draw and flavor the carto tanks, too. The only thing I dislike about them is the disposable nature of the cartos. Is RBC a next big thing? Will we see inexpensive knockoffs and clones as well as a variety of ultra-high quality units?

Or are there already a bunch of them around that I don't know about yet? I want two perfect RBCs! That way, I'll have a backup.

As always, any thoughts are appreciated.

while a catchy name becuase it uses a standard carto tank the function is almost that of the of the ody or terminators. without the outer steel tank, this way you can have the killer function (hence the name) with the tank of your choosing as big, small or custom as you like.
the people making them just have a reputation for putting out excellent quality, the other things from them making a splash right now are the Ebaron dripper pro and spiral

The closest you're gonna find right not to a RBC (minus the tank) is a GP Spheroid. They hit great, are easy to build and fill and they don't leak. Kinda hard to get ahold of one, but they do show up in the Classifieds periodically.
REVIEW OF THE GP SPHEROID REBUILDABLE ATOMISER FOR ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES - YouTube

Wow, now I want a Spheroid (or reasonable facsimile) after watching this. Definitely interested in a road warrior that absolutely will not leak as opposed to something that probably, usually doesn't leak very much.

And thanks, Thrasher, I will look into the Steam/Stamer universe too.

I will be getting a couple of the Achilles when they go on sale, in a couple months. I am waiting on a couple Killers. The Achilles seems to be the only other atomizer similar. There are a couple of atomizers specifically made for their proprietary tanks. Avid Vapor has been saying one is coming soon, but its been months. There is also another made by the people who make the ADAM mod, sold at Rampage vapours, that you put in reg atomizers like the Cisco and Ikenvapes etc, but it will be a while and again, the atomizers are not rebuildable.

Im excited to be able to use the Killer in my own tanks and the build seems easy enough. and the only thing I hear is that you have a bit of a learning curve for dialling the right amount of flow.
