I just got my Tenergy 3.0v 900maH batteries and charger in today. Set the set up in the charger. It took about 5 hours or so to charge, which according to the package is normal. Took them out of the charger and decided test the voltage. They both were at 4.13v!! According to tenergy's site, they should read 3.6v fully charged and immediately drop to 3.0v once used. 4.13 is a long way away from 3.6. Are these things off somehow? I'm begining to question wether or not they are protected/ pcb.

here's the kit that I got.

Tenergy 4 Pack RCR123A 3V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery with Smart Charger

Anyone have an idea on what's up with these?

i got that batt and charger kit for my SD and i HAD to quit the kit to flashlight use, the batts just would not last like a spyderfire or trustfire batt.

i ( dont tell anybody) put those tenergy batts in the nano to see if it was the charger and the tenergy batts didnt explode but they did not last any longer than the oem tenergy charger...
a battery under load acts differently from batts point of veiw cuz of the chemersty in the batt, 3 volt 3.6v and 3.7v are built to different specs i think....

i guess i`m used to 3.7vdc 880-1000mAh batt preformace, but did get yesterday some aw 3.7vdc 550mAh to see how SD like em, killed a 801 atty after 3 draws...but it was a 3 month old atty, using 1 new atty and 1 old atty 901 with 2 SD`s.
