I concur. The velocity is exceptionally flexible due to its air inlet style. Also the velocity deck and s very easy to build on. So much so it has been frequently copied
Yes. I have a Mutation X4. It's a leaky thing. Good flavor though. The idea of it is good, they just didn't make it seal well enough. The bottom air flow holes are set such that if you over fill, it goes right out onto your hand.

Velocity clone is a winner. Tobecco makes a good one. I usualy go stainless steel on clones just in case the paints not up to par.
I'd suggest a Goon (1.5), MadDog, Rabies or Kennedy24.
All of them are very flavourful and produce some nice, dense clouds.
The Kennedy however needs to be dripped carefully, or it'll make a mess, but the flavour is absolutely worth it.
Good clones are readily available at FT.

I went with the velocity. Having it mailed since it's cheaper than driving over. I didn't have any errands going in their direction. They didn't have goon or Kennedy clones instock and where more $$. For my first I was was trying to stay inexpensive
I think you made a good choice. Fasttech does have alot of clones. Another good clone to look at is the Apocalypse. Seriously though for your next RDA I would suggest getting the Digiflavor Drop.

I have the Goon V1.5. It works great but the drip tip has a little play, I'm assuming it's the o-ring. The bottom o-rings are also too loose so you'll need some floss to fix that or you can try to find the authentic o-ring kit. If you squonk, you'll need to pick up a squonk pin for 99cents. For 8 bucks its not bad.

My green aluminum version of the Goon 1.5 clone has perfect orings.
I have a new Velocity RDTA sitting on my table at home I haven't even taken out of the box yet. I'll be building and using that this weekend.
Not much into clones, but my favorite flavor 24mm RDA's for dripping or squonking are... 3 Mesh RDA's, 6 Kryten's, 5 Goon 1.5's and a Goon LP (all authentic). I prefer to squonk them on mech Reo P67's and DT-DS's, but also have dripped them on TC mods (Sig213's, Minikin VGOD & V1.5's and an Athena Pride).
