I've spent the last couple of months researching rda's and I've finally pulled the trigger. I have a Igo-W on the way with a selection of wick material to play with. My question is what do ya'll suggest in the way of a cheap multimeter and torch? I would prefer to purchase them on amazon since I have amazon prime. I would like to keep the price of each under 20$ for getting started. I don't plan on doing anything super silly up front, just getting the hang of it and working with some 1.2-1.5Ω coils.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Before you worry about a torch or multimeter I would suggest a Vamo and reading all the stickies in the apv and rebuild able atomizer section. The vamo will give you all the ohms readings you need, another "Mod" so to speak, and the ability to play with voltages and watts. I don't know what your level of technical ability is, but please take the time to research batteries, coils, " sub - ohm coils" ( which I don't recommend to a new or technologically impaired newbie[ no offence intended] ) and methodology regarding multiple coils.
I would form a health standpoint recommend that you look into cotton wick material. From experience I can say that it is very tolerant, cheap, easy and enjoyable. Otherwise seriously, read here on ECF about the topics mentioned. I've spent a lot of money on rebuildables and equipment looking for the ultimate VAPE. One thing to keep it n mind is the old adage, " Buy what you can afford" but plan ahead. Expensive attys are expensive for a reason, I hated my "Cyclone" before I tried cotton wick. I wouldn't sell it for anything since.
There is a lot of info available here, it is definitely in your best interest to do some research, take your time and do what you are comfortable with after all of the above.. Wishing you the best, most enjoyable, and healthiest Vape you can manage. Dtrud0h

Mainly I want a multimeter to familiarize myself with how to operate it. I already have a Vamo v2, a Smok Zmax, and a SVD for testing coils over 1.2Ω. I do have an assortment of materials coming in to find what I prefer. I already have AW IMR 18650's and 18350's which have an amp limit of 7, so as long as I'm above .7Ω or so I'm fine. Like I said to start I'll be shooting for 1.2 to 1.5Ω with different gagues and wicks to see what I prefer before I move on to a RBA like the RSST or AGA-T2.

I think you'll be happy with the igo-w. I have the igo-l which I really like but wish I would have got the igo-w for the post holes which are easier imho. As to torches I have a cheap crappy one. Refilling it is a pita. If I had it to do over I would look for something that has something like a butane cartridge that you just plug in and use. Don't know if they exist but might want to check.
