RDA Initial Use

So I just got my first authentic rda. Found a TOBH 2.5 in stock and I just got it in the mail today. There is a slight machining/oil smell to it and I'm needing to know the best way to clean it. What do you all do before using a new dripper for the first time? Alcohol? Soap and water?

Bingo, just be careful with the o-rings. Prolonged exposure to isopropyl alcohol *may* dry them out and cause them to be brittle.

Hot water and dishwashing soap.

I use dawn and warm to hot water. That is also what we use at work to remove machine oil.

Dawn will make quick work of the oil.

Wash with Dawn and hot water.
Rinse well.
Dry.
Quick bath in Everclear or 100-proof (or higher) vodka if you live in one of the dozen or so states that ban Everclear.
Dry again.
Build and enjoy.

Awesome replies everyone. I ended up taking a qtip and rubbing alcohol and scrubbing everything down. Then I used some dawn and a scrubbing brush. Washed it out really well and got to building. This thing is awesome.
