I started out small and I've been slowly upgrading. I like the EMOW Mega setup I got but I'm growing an itch to upgrade. I enjoyed rebuilding my coils in my Evod atomizers so I think I will enjoy the challenge in getting and maintaining an RDA. I just don't want to upgrade my battery yet. I go to a shop where I taste all the ejuice with an RDA. It's great. But when I get them into my clearomizer the taste isn't there anymore. So I'd like to ask everyone if anyone else has tried this and if they've had success at this. I mix my own juice also and I realize it would be a quick way to check my work also.

You can try a small single coil sort of RDA, but you wont be able to get that battery to really fire a low ohm coil well. 1.5 maybe 1.8ohm at best.

While yes it can do it, use an RDA as a topper... it wont really get you the full benifits of a RDA.

For tasting your juice, as you mix em.. this would be perfect.

Thank you for the reply.

I think it's worth the cost of a single coil RDA if it produces a similar flavor to my clearomizer. At least for tasting my ejuice creations. However I am disappointed to hear it won't be better than my current setup. I was hoping for an upgrade.

Yeah sorry, you just dont have enough volts/watts/amps/ohms flexibility to really get the most out of an RDA on that battery.

Before you do buy one for that battery, make sure to find out what the lowest ohms that battery can support, get a good multimeter (even more important with RDA's than rebuilding stock coils), and make sure you fully understand Ohm's law.

Thank you again.
It is only because of my understanding of Ohms law and my electrical background that I don't allow these young salespeople to talk me into a mod setup that I might later be unhappy with.
I talked with the retailer I bought my battery from shortly after my purchase. He told me not to go subohm and anything above 1.2 ohms could be handled on this battery. But that was with the dual coils that the EMOW uses. He also said it ran a little under 9 watts.

You could try these with some 30 or 32 gauge kanthal. You would be looking at 10 or 11 wraps with 30 gauge to hit 1.8 ohms. And this will certainly not be the same as the one you are hitting at the shop but would fire a bit better than anything else you could try. 30 and 32 are kind of a pain to work with and would be better if you torched them first and then build your coil.
