RDA Screw Question

Does the length of the screws in an rda affect anything like resistance etc?

I got a plume veil clone in the mail today...nice piece, but it came with the wrong size screws...they wouldn't thread...so I had to go pick some up at the local hardware store but they are quite long, about 1/4 in. Just wondering if the length of the screws that go into the posts has an effect on anything.

nope... you should be good but it is best to get something like stainless steel screws, and if your screws have points on the end then try to file them flat so as they dont break the wire, oh and make sure the screws dont touch the cap whne you put it together or you will short your battery

On a Plume veil you also run the risk of not being able to reduce the chamber and open up your two top airflow holes.

Thanks for the help! Seems to be working okay. coils are reading .8 ohms. The screws aren't touching anything, so I haven't had any problems with a short...thank goodness. Just seems kinda strange having long screws. The funny part is that the rda came with a bunch of extra screws...none of them fit :-O. ??? They must have a surplus...
