Ive been looking into rebuilding the atty on my iclear. Can it be done with 28g kanthal and cotton or do I need to use wick and 32g?

I've tried it with cotton yarn, but the biggest problem is dry hits evolve rapidly into burning the cotton, so I went back to 0.8 or 1 mm silica.

I don't know if it's me or the iclear30, but even rebuilt I find better performance with other clearomizers.

Well I managed to build a single coil 1.0 ohm on the iclear. The dual coil was not happening... I have the bleeding thumbs to show for my effort. Right now the iclear is my only option until I can make another trip to the store. But with a newborn its difficult.

Truth be told, the "factory" dual-coil heads that I rebuild (Kanger, Aspire, Iclear) normally get re-done with single microcoils. It's just easier, and I think the performance is at the very least just as good as the factory duals, if not better than.
