Re Clouper T5

Sorry Moderators if I post in wrong sub forum but I could not figure where to put this.

I have a 2nd edition Clouper T5. Ok it is a mongrel of a mod as far as chewing up battery power goes and I have tried all the recommended batteries by the manufacturers and forum contributors. Now the rotten thing will not charge through the USB port and every time I want to recharge a battery I have to unscrew the back cover and physically remove the battery and it charges perfectly with my Nitecore Charger.

I have tried numerous charging transformers ranging from 0.5A to 2.0A and no joy the charging wheel just keeps spinning in the display and the battery is not charged even when left overnight. I have tried emailing Clouper no response.....real peeved....I have had this mod for two months and am considering placing it on a fence post and using it for target practice. Yes I am using the charging cable that came with the mod.
No, I did not upgrade its software on line. I read that was a no no

I also note the T5 has been removed from the Clouper site.
